consultrack is a single-user, personal productivity tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the Service:

  • Account data: your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth)
  • Work data: time entries, projects, clients, and settings you create within the app
  • Calendar data: .ics files you import are processed locally in your browser and stored only in your browser's local storage
  • Usage data: basic server logs for security and debugging (IP address, timestamps). We do not use analytics trackers.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To respond to your support requests
  • To send critical service notifications (e.g. security alerts)
  • To improve reliability and fix bugs

We do not sell your data, run advertising, or share it with third parties except as required by law.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Calendar events you import via .ics are stored only in your browser's localStorage — they never leave your device.

Your data is stored in the EU region by default. By using the Service you consent to this storage location.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and export all data you have stored in consultrack
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Object to any processing of your data

7. Cookies

consultrack uses only a session cookie required for authentication. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
