Terms of Service

By creating an account and using consultrack, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

consultrack is a personal time-tracking and project management tool for consultants and working professionals. It allows you to log hours, manage projects, sync calendar events, and generate activity reports. The Service is available as a web application at consultrack.app.

We offer a Free tier and a Pro tier, each with different feature limits. Current limits are described on the pricing page.

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Use a strong, unique password and do not share your login details with others.
• Each account is for one person only. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at [email protected].

• Free tier: available to all registered users, subject to the feature limits described on the pricing page (e.g. up to 5 active projects, 90 days of history).
• Pro tier: currently assigned manually upon request. To request an upgrade, email [email protected]. Pricing and payment terms will be communicated at the time of upgrade.
• We reserve the right to modify tier limits and pricing with reasonable advance notice to affected users.

You may not use consultrack to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Attempt to access, read, or modify another user's data or account.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Service or its underlying software.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorisation.
• Use the Service in any way that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair its operation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into consultrack — your projects, time entries, client names, and notes. We do not claim any rights over your content.

You can export your data at any time from the Settings page. We strongly encourage regular exports as a personal backup. We are not liable for data loss resulting from service interruptions, bugs, or account termination.

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service as a whole with reasonable notice. For material changes that affect Pro tier users, we will provide at least 30 days' notice where possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of consultrack is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, with immediate effect for serious violations or with reasonable notice for lesser issues.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hungary.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence that cannot be overridden by this clause.
